Technology Accelerator Fund

To further its mission, OTD has established the Harvard University Technology Development Accelerator Fund (the Accelerator). The purpose of the Accelerator is to overcome what is known as the “development gap,” a classic obstacle or limitation of academic research that may prevent such research from reaching fruition and translation. Through the Accelerator, we hope to expedite the development of greater numbers of investment- and venture-grade technologies, thereby increasing the flow of Harvard-originated technologies from the laboratory to the marketplace.
